2026 Annual education Conference (AEC) May 19-21, 2026

This multi-day event will include educational talks, student poster presentations, table top exhibits, and networking activities.

FAFP is soliciting award nominations for this year's Bronson Lane, Laboratorian of the Year, and Sanitarian of the Year Awards.

This year, we have also added a New Professional Award.

Abstract Submissions Reopened

FAFP would like to invite all students from Florida Universities and Colleges to submit a food safety poster abstract for the FAFP AEC.

Abstract submissions are due by April 10th, 2026 at 11:59 pm, EST.

FAFP is also pleased to invite postdoctoral researchers from Florida Universities and Colleges to submit a food safety poster abstract for the FAFP AEC.

A limited number of accepted students and postdoctoral researchers will receive free registration and accommodations for the conference. Those with accepted abstracts will present a poster and participate in the 3-minute oral presentation at the AEC.
